I’m Charlotte Ripley. An aspiring Visual Effects artist.

Although my undergraduate degree is actually in Electronic and Electrical Engineering, I have always loved and wanted to go into the Visual Effects industry.

Having watched the likes of Avatar, Beetlejuice and Coldplay’s Adventure Of A Lifetime music video, I would love to further pursue this dream.

My favourite effects are often a hybrid between digital and physical effects, such as the paintings used in Star Wars and The Lord Of The Rings. My engineering background always pushes me towards a hands-on approach but artist in me pushed me towards the digital arts.
